Duronto Rajshahi coach Khaled Mashud on Monday became the second person in the Bangladesh Premier League to be fined Tk 15,000 by match referee Mike Procter for entering the ground during the strategic time-out in their match against Barisal Burners at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. According to the law, no officials are allowed to enter the field during the course of play or even during the strategic time-out. Earlier on Saturday, Chittagong Kings’ technical director Dean Jones was fined for the same offence. – New Age

BPL teams to pay tribute to martyrs of language movement
All six teams of the Bangladesh Premier League will pay tribute to the martyrs of the historic language movement at the Chittagong Shaheed Minar at 11:00am today. After paying tribute Duronto Rajshahi, who have no matches left in Chittagong, will head for Cox’s Bazar for  recreation for two days before returning to Dhaka on February 23.
